I was looking through all the posts I had drafted and saw this WINTER ‘Strawberry Picking’ post sitting in the drafts section. I thought better post it before it becomes summer here in Aus (it’s still super cold here!). So, steering away from the usual beauty/fashion post, here is a lifestyle post. A little snapshot of my Strawberry picking at a farm experience!
The farm we went to was Strawberry Fields in Sunshine Coast, QLD, Australia. The farm is large and open with a cute little cafe (featuring ice creams, cheesecakes, cakes, smoothies and much more!) and playground for the kids. The farm is only open in Winter and they only open sections of the farm – there are different areas ranging from 1-14 plus. There are a range of different shapes and sizes of strawberries to pick and it’s good fun picking your own delicious, red strawberries!
The strawberries themselves are delicious and juicy and tastes super sweet. They’re also organic, woo! I’m not sure if I notice a distinctive flavour difference from these organic strawberries to the ones you buy in the stores but you know, the whole experience is good fun!
